4 - Valley of Lunahuana and the
Ruins of Incahuasi

During the tour we visit the ruins of
Incahuasi, the city of Lunahuana, and the
plaza and the Church of Lunahuana, the
store of La Reyna, and the central Plaza of
the city.

The program includes transportation from
Lima to Lunahuana in a tourist van, the
services of a professional bilingual guide,
and the ticket to enter the ruins.

This tour is priced at $140 per person for 2
to 3 passengers and $115 per person for 4
to 6 passengers. We leave at 7:30 AM.

Itinerary of the tour

7:30 AM - We leave Lima for the site of Lunahuana to begin our adventure.


10 AM - We arrive at the archaeological complex of Incahuasi, which was an ancient Inca city. It
had four types of buildings: an Inca palace, granaries, the city proper, and a fort. According to the
Chronicles the Incas in this zone constructed Incahuasi in the image of the city of Cusco.


11:30 AM - We arrive at Lunahuana. For an additional $15 extra you can take a ride on a raft on the
River Canotaje. You will be accompanied by an experienced guide, and his assistant.


1 PM- lunch (not included).

3 PM-We arrive at Catapalla, which is famous for its bridge and horse rides (optional). We visit
the small store of La Reyan, where you can find wines and pisco to buy.  We also visit other
places where you can find different kinds of honey to test and to buy.


4 PM, We board our tourist van and begin the journey back to Lima.


6:30 PM-We arrive in Lima and take you to your hotel.  This is the end of our tour.
